John Richard Weldon (J.B.) born November 21, 1950, was preceded in death by his parents, John (Jack) Weldon and Elizabeth L. (Grimm) Weldon. J.B. leaves behind the love of his life, his wife, Sharon Weldon, his sister Kathy Kott (Fred) and brother David Weldon (Lorrie), his children, Dean Poppen, Jerry Weldon (Jill), Heather Kaye, Staci Humbertson, Sarah Ford (Jeremiah) and his "best friends" and "playmates", his grandchildren. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
J.B. loved the Lord with all of his heart, his soul and his mind. He went to live with the Lord on April 28, 2017. He will be missed by many friends, church family and small groups in Frederick, Maryland and in Daytona Beach, FL The family would like to thank Hospice Care Center of Port Orange for their compassionate care for J.B., as well as Christ Church Port Orange for their love and support.
A Celebration of Life will be held privately with family and friends.
