John D. Jackson 64 passed away July 3 2008. A visitation is scheduled for Friday July 11th from 6 pm to 8 pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach. Services will be conducted Saturday July 12th at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. John was born September 19 1943 in Damascus GA to Joseph and Arssie Jackson. He spent his career as a computer programmer in the banking industry and was also a veteran of the US Air Force. He is survived by his wife of 16 years Muriel "Mia" Jackson of Ormond Beach and six children and many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They are: Lynette (Kenney) Hall and Le'Queya Jaiden and Kenney "Peewee"; Johneva Annette (Darren) Christopher and Darren and Darianna; Derrick (Ester) Jackson and Jaira Karissa and Leila; Christy (Elbert) McClain and Aaron; Kevin (Sonya) Jackson and Jalen Lauryn and Kierra; and Samuel Herring. John was pre-deceased by his sister Lula Miller and three siblings survive: Della Jackson Jack Jackson and Laura (Richard) Robinson.
