John L. Harrison 84 of Port Orange passed away on Thursday April 14 2011. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm on Wednesday April 20 2011 at Grace Episcopal Church 4110 S Ridgewood Ave Port Orange Florida 32127.

John was born on July 18 1926 in Pontiac Michigan to Dorothy Robinson and John E. Harrison. He served in the United States Air Force and later retired from the General Motors Corporation as a Personnel Director. He was a devoted husband father grandfather and friend. John was known for his quick wit and fun loving personality. He found a friend in all and had a special why of making you at ease. John enjoyed golf dancing and spending time with his family. He was a parishioner of Grace Episcopal Church where he also volunteered as an usher.

John is preceded in death by his parents Dorothy Robinson and John E. Harrison Brother Bruce Harrison and Sister Josephine Vollmar.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife Kathleen Harrison children Brian (Cindy) Harrison John (Delia) Harrison Kathy Harrison grandchildren Melinda Cassandra Alisa John and many extended family members and friends.
