Obituary

John "Jack" Hardiman, 75
February 15, 1950 – November 7, 2025

John "Jack" Hardiman, 75, of Freedom, New Hampshire, passed away on November 7, 2025, at his RV home in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Born on February 15, 1950, Jack was the son of the late John Hardiman and Helen Lindenauer, and he shared a special bond with her husband, Martin "Marty" Lindenauer. Jack was also the cherished brother of the late Linda Hardiman.

He leaves behind his devoted wife and best friend of 52 years, Paula Hardiman; his loving children, daughter Jennifer Skabo of Sunshine Coast, Australia, son Kevin Hardiman and daughter-in-law Marielle Hardiman of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts; and his three adored granddaughters, Kirra Skabo, Juliana Hardiman, and Riley Hardiman. Jack is also lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law Ken Wilson; niece Hannah Wilson and her daughter Tay; and his stepsister Margie Khataab and her husband Mokhtar.

Jack proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War Era and was honorably discharged. After returning home, he built a long and dedicated career—first as a technician with New England Telephone Company, then as a manager with Angelo's Supermarkets, and later with Verizon Wireless before retiring at 63.

Jack spent many happy years in Weymouth, Massachusetts, where he and Paula raised their two children and spent family holidays making memories in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. After retirement, he and Paula enjoyed life at their lake house on Danforth Pond, at Ossipee Lake, New Hampshire, where he found peace and enjoyment on the water, boating and spending time with his loved ones. He also treasured his winters in Daytona Beach, Florida, where his RV Park community became a second family to him—filled with laughter and friendship.

Jack will be remembered for his loving kindness as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend—someone who worked tirelessly to provide for his family and cared deeply for his loved ones.

In keeping with Jack's wishes, there will be no service held. His family will honor his memory privately. Donations in Jack's memory can be made to the American Heart Association and the Humane Society of the United States.
