John "Jack" Wesley Haight Jr. 68 passed away June 17 2012. A celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday June 20 2012 at 4:00 P.M at Unity of Daytona 908 Ridgewood Ave Holly Hill FL 32117. A gathering will be held on Tuesday June 19 2012 from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M at Cardwell Funeral Home 3571 S. Ridgewood Ave Port Orange FL 32129. Jack was born in Upper Darby Pennsylvania and moved to the Port Orange area in 1960. He was a proud member of Unity of Daytona in Holly Hill Florida. Jack was a former member of Halifax Sport Fishing Club Port Orange and Port Orange Volunteer Fire Fighters. Jack never met a stranger and he would often be seen with a hammer or fishing pole in his hand. He was the beloved husband of Sharon Haight for 47 beautiful years; their life together was a true love story. Loving father of and Hope (George) Paul Jason Haight and significant other Corrina Stevens. Caring brother of Eleanor (Fred) Garton. Jack also leaves behind his two grandchildren; Taylor and Devin Paul. Jack will be remembered by many loving friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jack's name to Unity of Daytona or Hospice of Volusia/Flagler. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Cardwell Funeral Home.
