Funeral Services for John Clark Gontner age 78 of Ormond Beach born in Apollo PA raised in Vandergreft PA who passed away on Janury 7 2003 will be held in the chapel of Ormond Funeral Home on Monday January 12 at noon.

The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 until 4:00 pm and from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday at Ormond Funeral Home.

He was a member of the US Army Tech. Sergeant Corp of Engineers in the European Campaign and also a member of American Legion Post #267 in Ormond Beach. John also was a member of the Antique Motorcycle Club Sunshine Chapter.

He is preceded in death by his parents John Clayton Gontner and Ella Conner Gontner; brother Clayton and wife Blanche Gontner; brother Merle Gontner; sister Verna Gontner Wing and husband Oliver.

He is survived by Evelyn Kunkle Gontner spouse of 49 years; daughters Vicky Pritt-Zimmermann and husband Mark; Johnna Gontner of Daytona; Robin Gontner of Ohio; Holly Gontner Baer and husband Ed of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren Richard Pritt of Gainesville Melissa Baer of Orlando Candice Baer and Charles Baer of Pennsylvania.
