A Funeral Services for John Geffen 79 of Ormond Beach Florida will be held on Thursday October 16 2008 at 11:00 AM at Lohman Funeral Home-Ormond at 733 W. West Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach FL with Minister Wiley Lowe and Minister Larry Cline of Holly Hill Church of Christ Officiating Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Mr. Harris was born in Calgary Alberta Canada to David and Freda (Tucker) Geffen; he passed away on Thursday October 9 2008 at Florida Hospital-Ormond. He relocated to Daytona in the 1960's from Calgary was a Pressman of the News-Journal and a member of the Holly Hill Church of Christ. John loved his church family very much he enjoyed writing poetry traveling and working to raise money for children without homes. John Geffen is survived by his loving wife Imogene "Jean" (Pauley) Geffen Ormond Beach FL brothers Harry and Morris Gilbert both of Calgary Canada and his sister Molly Alexiou Balfour British Columbia.
