John Ganikon 89 of Palm Coast passed away on July 12 2010 with his family by his side. Born in Reading Pennsylvania he was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Pacific during World War II. He received his degree from Temple University and retired from Western Electric Corporation in Reading before moving to Palm Coast in 1979.

John is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Theodora and four children Mary and Michael of Palm Coast Gregory (Linda) of Reading PA and Mark of Washington state. The funeral service will be held on July 15 2010 at 11:00am. Father George Papadeas will be officiating at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 129 N. Halifax Ave. Daytona Beach.
