John M. Eustace age 79 of Palm Coast FL passed away Wednesday January 12 2005 at home. A Memorial Mass will be held in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at 10:30 AM on Friday January 21 2005 with Rev. Sebastian Kaithamattom as celebrant. Family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Lohman Palm Coast Funeral Home.
John was born April 2 1925 in Philadelphia PA to Joseph and Mary B. Oakley Eustace. He was a resident of this area since moving here in 1989 from Arlington VA. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served in WWII and the Korean War. John was also retired from U.S. Agency for International Development where he was a Foreign Service Officer. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Palm Coast Civic Assn. Marine Corps League The American Legion and served on the Board of Directors of Memorial Health Systems Foundation.
John was predeceased by his brother William.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Lucille; A son John M. Eustace Jr. of La Paz Bolivia 5 daughters: Cynthia Stafford of Plano TX Mindy Dollar of Annapolis MD Lisa Bates of Palm Coast FL Pam Couture of Tucson AZ and Gigi Jennings of Newburgh NY 11 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
