John Trimble Eads, Jr. (Jack) born on July 15, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on April 14, 2023. Jack is survived by his wife, Veronica Spragg Eads (affectionately known as Ronnie) of 63 years. The couple have been residents of Ormond by the Sea, FL since 1986. They were married in Philadelphia, PA on November 7, 1959. They had four loving children: Christina Eads Clearwater (Frank) of Lewes, DE; John Eads III (Elizabeth) of Birmingham, MI; Elizabeth Eads, D.O., of Ormond Beach, FL; and James Eads (Julie) of Flagler Beach, FL; along with five beloved grandchildren: Andrew Eads, Allysen Eads, Sarah Eads, John Eads IV, and Colin Eads, who Jack adored. Jack is also survived by his dear siblings: his sister, Elizabeth Thomas (Daniel) of Pensacola, FL; and his brother, James Eads of Amber, PA; as well as many blessed nieces and nephews.

Jack was a graduate of St. Joseph's Preparatory High School, College of the Holy Cross (Class of 1955), and Temple University where he received his Master's degree. He was a long time medical sales representative and sales manager with OEC Medical. He spent his early family years in Framingham, MA and later years in Canton, MI, which contributed to his passion for the Boston pro sports teams and later the University of Michigan Wolverines. He loved golf, and his grandchildren and family near and far. He never missed a holiday or event to send flowers or a special note. Jack was known for his larger than life personality, had the gift of gab, loved convertibles, a good story or two, and long walks on the beach. Jack had a full and wonderful life. Mr. Eads was a long time member of the Union League of Philadelphia. His mantra was to live "one day at a time" and by the grace of God, he did just that.

A funeral service will be held at St. Brendan's Catholic Church, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL on Saturday, May 6th at 11:00 AM with Fr. Queen presiding. A light reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Eads' memory can be made to any or all of the following: Caron Foundation in Wernersville, PA; College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA; and Epilepsy Foundation of America in Bowie, MD.
