Funeral service for Drewry John Hampton Sr. 88 will be held graveside at Daytona Memorial Park on Thursday January 17 2008 at 2:00 pm. Mr. Drewry passed away Monday at Daytona Rehabilitation Center after a short illness.

Mr. Drewry was born May 13 1919 in Roanoke Virginia and was the son of William Hampton Drewry and Alice Emily Nunn. He was the former operator of Hamp's Market in Roanoke.

Mr. Drewry is predeceased by his wife of 61 years Violet Evelyn Poff and one son John Hampton Drewry Jr. He is survived by one daughter Sue (Sonny) Whorley of South Daytona and one son Phillip (Melissa) Drewry of Orange City; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
