He was a contractor on Long Island specializing in roofing siding and new home construction. In Florida he owned and operated an Aamco Transmission franchise until becoming ill in 2002. He also invested in residential real estate. John served in the U.S. Air Force as a Avionics Instrument Systems Specialist He enjoyed spending time with his family. John was a power weight lifter competing in New York State. Surviving include his wife of 33 years Carol of Daytona Beach Shores Two sons and James Conforti Deland FL Christian Conforti Casselburry Fl. A daughter and son in law Carolyn and Richard Portigiani Sanford FL a brother James Conforti of New Cannan CT and a sister Joan Cefali Fort Lauderdale FL.
