John S. Blanco 80 of Palm Coast an army veteran who served in the Korean War passed away on April 6 2009. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with the Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM. He and his wife Yona (Notarmuzi) moved to Palm Coast fifteen years ago from Georgia. Born in New York City in 1928 he went on to have an illustrious career as a Manager with Burns Brothers Coal and Fuel and was active in the Palm Coast Italian Club Knights of Columbus and the B.P.O.E Elks. Aside from Yona his major love was golfing. He believed that instead of sending flowers to the service more good would be done by sending a donation to the MDS Foundation P.O.
