John Perry Anderegg 80 of Sanford Florida passed away Monday May 13 2013 at his home. The family will receive friends on Sunday May 19th between the hours of 4-6 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd followed by a Celebration of Life on Monday May 20th at 2:00 pm at Calvary Christian Center; 1687 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach.
John was a very successful business man with 3M for many years when he was called upon to do God's work. He left 3M and attended Southeastern University Bible College in Lakeland FL. He went on to establish and Pastor at several churches in the area including Calvary Christian Academy which is now the Performing Arts Center and Victory Assembly of God in Port Orange. John will be lovingly remembered as a man with a vision he was well respected by the entire community. He was known as the minister that preached to the entire County. He could be counted on to be anywhere at any time to help those in need including visiting nursing homes and shut-ins. John's caring deeds were recognized by the community of Ormond Beach. In 1992 John was presented the Key to the City and proclaimed John Anderegg Day. His love was catering to the needs of his community and spreading God's words. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 59 years Bobbie Jean Anderegg Sanford FL his three daughters Sandy (Ron) Johnson Longwood FL Susan Weir Port Orange FL and Patty (Tom) Lebo Holland PA his sister Joyce Anderegg Ashville NC ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law Bob Weir.
