John Ablamsky 82 of Holly Hill died Tuesday April 5 2005 at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial. John was born in Oneonta NY and was reared in Connecticut. He worked for the Chase Brass and Copper Co. and the Waterbury CT Police Department until his retirement in 1963. He moved to Holly Hill where he worked for the Daytona News Journal in the circulation department. John proudly served his country in WW II and served in the 8th Air Force stationed in England from 1942-1945. He was crew chief of a B-17 bomber. John was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Daytona Beach and enjoyed summers at Sebago Lake in Maine and walking in the mall with friends. He was married four times. His first wife Blanche lives in CT; His second wife Ellie passed away in 1985; his third wife Millie passed away in 1995 and his fourth wife Eve passed away in 2004. John leaves a son John Ablamsky Jr. of Waterbury; 2 step-children Hank Letourneau of Ormond Beach and Betty Bruyette of Swanton VT; and several grandchildren.
