Joe O. Basham Jr, 87, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away on October 08, 2023 at Ormond Rehabilitation. He was born on November 10, 1935 to the late Joe Basham and Lupe Basham. Joe was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, U.S Army and the Georgia Army National Guard. Joe served 26 years and retired as Master Sergeant. He retired from Mead Products. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed Bingo, Casino, making jewelry, traveling, and being with family.

Joe is survived by three Children, Susan Basham, Scott Basham, and Steve Basham; Grandchildren Jerry (Maria) Darnell Jr. and Robert Basham; Great Grandchildren Vincent and Evelyn Darnell; Siblings Anita Luna, Elena (Daniel) Hinojos, Mary (Carlos) Guzman, Rey Basham, Carmen (Tony) Fleming; and many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and life long Friends. Joe is preceded in Death by Father Joe Basham, Mother Lupe Basham, and Brother Johnny Basham.

The Basham family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Gentiva, nurse Julie and nurse Kathy at Ormond Rehab. A Visitation will be held from 12-1 PM and Funeral Service at 1 PM on October 23, 2023 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond, 733 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174, 386-673-1100. Burial to follow at 2 PM at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N Nova Rd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
