Mass of Christian Burial for Joachim D. Moleano age 88 who died on Friday April 10 2009 will be held on Tuesday April 14th at 1:00pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. His family will receive friends on Monday April 13th from 6-8pm with a prayer service at 7pm at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast and from 12 Noon-1pm at the church preceding the funeral mass. Joachim was born in Portugal and moved to New York in 1959 and became a United States citizen. He met and married his loving wife of 62 years Maria who preceded him in death in February 2008. Joachim worked for General Motors for 25years and after retirement he and his wife moved to Palm Coast four years ago. He loved to garden but his true love was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He grew especially close to his great grandchildren later in life and shared a special bond with them. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Silvio and Kathleen Moleano of Palm Coast who also provided his care his 4 granddaughters Lisa Brendel Kimberly Moore Kathleen Giaimo and Maureen Grover his 11 great grandchildren his two sisters Clarice Carreira of NY and Maria Alice of Portugal and his brother Adelino Moleano. He was also preceded in death by his brother Antonio Moleano.
