Joanne Parsons 57 of Daytona Beach passed away June 12 2008. She was born September 20 1950 in New Britain CT. to Bertle E. and Marna A. Parsons. She grew up in Old Saybrook CT. and lived in the Daytona Beach area for the last thirty years. Joanne was a resident of Daytona Beach Health and Rehabilitation Center a local nursing home since last August. Joanne is survived by her brothers: Judge William Parsons and his wife Patricia of Ormond Beach; Robert Parsons and his wife Paula of San Diego CA; and Richard Parsons of Cashiers NC. Also surviving are her nephew James Parsons his wife Dr. Carrie Quinn and their daughter Abigail of New York NY. and her niece Kelly Parsons Kwiatek and her husband Jarrett Kwiatek of Ormond Beach. A special recognition is given to Joanne's extended family and many friends at Daytona Beach Health and Rehabilitation Center. Joanne enjoyed working on her computer participating with her friends in the many activities at the Center and spending time with her family especially her brothers. She will be deeply missed and touched the lives of many. Memorial donations may be made in Joanne's memory to Easter Seals of Volusia and Flagler Counties 1219 Dunn Avenue Daytona Beach FL 32114. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach. Private services are being scheduled by the family for a later date.
