Joanne Mollis O'Brien 65 of Ormond Beach Florida passed away on Thursday December 27 2012 at home with her loving family by her side. Born on March 27 1947 in Kearny NJ to proud parents Joseph and Catherine Mollis Joanne grew up in Laurence Harbor NJ and was a graduate of Madison Township High School in Old Bridge New Jersey. She was employed by Jersey Central Power and Light Co. retiring in 2002.

Joanne was predeceased by her parents her brother Donald K. McArthur and her husband Michael T. O'Brien. She is survived by her loving son Timothy M. O'Brien of Ormond Beach FL her cherished grandchildren Travis Nicole and Lauren O'Brien of Ormond Beach FL her loving son Donald P. O'Brien of Jackson NJ her loving sister and brother in law Patricia and Dennis Henba of Ormond Beach FL and Whiting NJ and her loving brother and sister in law Joseph J. Jr. and Fran Mollis of Laurence Harbor NJ. She was also the proud and supportive aunt of several nieces and nephews Betty Ann Fetta Tracey Zucatti Daniel Mollis Kristy Henba and Jeffrey Henba.

Joanne's talent as an amateur photographer was appreciated and respected by all of her family and friends. Her love of nature and her ability to capture its beauty in photographs is testament to her amazing spirit and zest for life. Her longlasting friendships will live in the hearts of many as we remember her and cherish the memories created over time.

A Memorial Service celebrating Joanne's life will be held Sunday December 30 2012 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach at 3:00pm. Family will greet friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Details of a memorial service in New Jersey will be announced. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
