Joann R yals Sills , passed away peacefully at her home in Orange City, FL on March 7, 2021 . Joann was blessed to have her son Mark and daughter in law Sandi as her care giver and in her final days granddaughters Natalie and Lindsey to help care for her .

Born July 8, 1939 in DeLand , FL to James B . and Nadine Ryals . Joann was a lifelong resident of the DeLand-Orange City area, graduating from DeLand High Scho ol in 1957 and marrying the love of her life Jerry Sills . She was happy to be a housewife and loving Mother . Joann was loved by many and never met a stranger. She enjoyed her music nights with the Cassia Music Group and various other music groups where country music, bluegrass and guitar picking took place .

Joann was proceeded in death by her parents; her loving husband Jerry; 2 brothers and 1 sister . Joann leaves be hin d one son Mark (Sandi), Orange City; one daughter Cynthia Eagle (Don), Bushnell , F L; 5 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, and a very Special Friend Easy Mobley . Services will be at Lohman Funeral Home in DeLand on Thursday, March 11, 2 02 1 . Viewing hours will be 9 : 30 - 10 : 25 and Service will be at 10 : 30 am .
