Winzens Joan E. 76 of Daytona was called home to be with the Lord on November 24 2007. Mrs. Winzens moved to this area in 1967 from Syracuse NY. She was a homemaker wife and loving mother and was very devoted to her family. Mrs. Winzens loved to win Bingo and made the best spaghetti and meatballs ever. She was a devoted Catholic and worshiped at Our Lady of Hope in Port Orange. Mrs. Winzens is predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years O.J. Winzens and by her twin sister Jean. She is also predeceased by her son Eddy. Mrs. Winzens is survived by her son Michael (Janice)Winzens of Port Orange; daughter Sharon (Eddie) Dyke of Daytona; five grandchildren Mike of Daytona B.J. of Daytona Heather of Ormond Beach Christina of Daytona and DeLorean of Port Orange; four great-grandchildren and one on the way. Calling hours for visitation for Mrs. Winzens are on Tuesday November 27 from 6-8 pm in the chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona beach and a graveside service will be on Wednesday November 28 at 10:30 am in Daytona Memorial Park Daytona Beach.
