Joan Julia Rapoano, 81, of South Daytona, Florida passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025.  She was born on September 23, 1943 in Pasaic, New Jersey.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Rapoano.  She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Jean Smith (husband, Douglas); son, Roger Billy Rapoano (wife, Cheryl Rapoano); sister, Pat Armstrong; sister, Carol Gaidos (husband, Ed Gaidos); brother, Richard Mikolitch (wife, Joan Mikolitch); granddaughter, Shannon Blanton (husband, Chad Blanton); grandson, Clayton Smith (wife, Kylie Smith); granddaughter, Kimberly Smith; grandson, Edward Rapoano (wife, Jenifer Rapoano); great grandchildren, Lydia Jean and Emily Caitlin; former spouse, Roger Billy Ruark; and other extended family and friends.

There will be a viewing on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 10:30AM at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona located at 1423 Bellevue Avenue, Daytona Beach, Florida 32114.  Services will begin at 11AM at the funeral home.  Interment will immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park, Daytona Beach, Florida.
