Memorial Services for Joan Selden-Lingg 59 of Daytona Beach who passed away at Halifax Medical Center on December 20 2003 will be 10:00 a.m. Monday December 29 2003 at Ormond Funeral Home.

Joan was born January 6 1944 in Daytona Beach Florida to John Selden and Geneva Staniewitz. Mrs. Lingg attended Mainland High School and later in life enrolled in DBCC where she made the Dean?s List and received an AA degree in Social Science.

Joan was a kind-hearted person whom others found easy to talk to and confide in. She loved animals and enjoyed garage sales flea markets writing poetry and watching scary movies.

Mrs. Lingg is survived by her daughter Eva Selden and son-in-law Dean Welch of Ormond Beach Florida; her parents John and Geneva Selden of Daytona Beach Florida; a brother and sister-in-law Robert and Ruth Selden; a nephew Jeff Selden of Holly Hill Florida; and two best friends Forrest Godhardt of Palm Coast Florida and Vicki Vosburgh-Roberts.
