Funeral Services for Mrs. Jane R. Chastaine 90 of Daytona Beach who passed away Saturday at Manor on the Green will be 11:00am Friday March 11 2005 at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home with Rev. James Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am also on Friday at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home. Interment will follow services at Woodland Cemetery.

Mrs. Chastaine was born January 23 1915 in Jacksonville FL to Merton and Isabelle Hunter. She moved to Daytona Beach in 1925. After graduation from Mainland High School Jane worked as an operator for Southern Bell retiring in 1958. She loved to dance especially with her late husband Harry and belonged to the Daytona Beach Emblem Club.

Descendant of a pioneer family Jane?s grandparents were John and Elizabeth Maley Elizabeth was the first Postmaster of Daytona Beach.

Those who will lovingly miss Jane include three cousins Susan Maley Hall Daytona Beach FL Fred Maley Colorado Springs CO and Gwen Pounds Daytona Beach FL.

Jane?s husband Harry passed away in 1998.
