Joan Fitzgerald, 83, a resident of Daytona Beach, Florida for 30 years, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2017 at Halifax Medical Center, with her family by her side.

She is survived by her loving husband Patrick a blessed marriage of 60 years; also her sons: Robert Fitzgerald, William (Maryann) Fitzgerald, daughters Deborah Kagle and Tabby Fitzgerald, loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her son Patrick Fitzgerald, a brother Frederick Castiner, and sister, Helen Ann Schmidt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 8:30 AM from Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange, including a viewing for family and friends on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 6-9 PM at the Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange, 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, in Port Orange.
