Jo Rita "Jody" O'Brien 77 of Ormond Beach passed away peacefully at her home on Monday April 22 2013. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 25th between the hours of 4-7 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00 am at St. Brendan Catholic Church; 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd. Ormond Beach interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Jody was a retired accountant with ATT a parishioner at St. Brendan Catholic Church and a volunteer at Florida Hospital's Pink-A-Dilly thrift store. She enjoyed taking walks along the beach bowling cooking gardening playing cards with her friends each week traveling and taking cruises. Jody is survived by the love of her life and her best friend her husband Robert "Bob" O'Brien Ormond Beach two step-brothers John Stafford California and Jim Stafford New Orleans Louisiana as well as eleven brothers and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her first husband Donald Gray her daughter Jamie Lee Shirling and a step-brother William Stafford.
