Jimmy Jack age 68 passed away suddenly on September 15 2011 at The Greenbrier in West Virginia. Jimmy born in Glasgow Scotland moved to Ormond Beach in 1986 with his beloved wife Frances. He was a treasured dad to Pauline and husband Derek James Eric and wife Susan Steven and wife Sabrina and a loving brother to his sister Christina. An adoring granddad he was in turn adored by his granddaughters Fiona Claire and Shona.

At an early age he joined the Merchant Navy and then became a miner in his hometown of Valleyfield Scotland. Always striving to provide the best for his family he took a part time job as a bus driver which eventually led to him starting his own successful company Jack's Luxury Coaches. It was in this capacity that he transported passengers all over Europe.

On relocating over the Atlantic to Ormond Beach he started up a lawn business but his expertise and knowledge in transportation ultimately led him to found Med-One Shuttle a non-emergency transportation company. Very much a self-made man he was kind generous and possessed an unprecedented willingness to help others.

Jimmy's passion for golf led him to have many friends on both sides of the Atlantic. He loved to cruise with family and friends often enjoying a wee bet at the casino. He was an enthusiastic soccer fan and enjoyed following horse-racing having owned racehorses in Britain. He had a great sense of humor often playing practical jokes on friends and family much to his delight.
Jimmy's family was his world and the arrival of his granddaughters brought him joy beyond compare. He liked nothing better than to spend time with them amidst fun and laughter and to watch them compete in their sporting events whether it was horse-jumping playing soccer or running cross country. He travelled with them throughout the US to Highland Dancing competitions encouraging them and being so proud of their success. Everyone loved Jimmy and the fun he brought and he will be greatly missed by the numerous friends he made along the way.

But Jimmy never forgot his roots. He was proud of being Scottish often overheard as saying 'Not bad for a boy fae (from) Valleyfield!'

Having worked tirelessly for so many years Jimmy with his beloved family was at last enjoying the fruits of his labors when his life ended so abruptly. But what a life one that touched so many people in so many ways. His many friends are invited to join his family and share in a celebration of his life at Christ Presbyterian Church 1035 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach FL 32174 on Friday September 23 2011 at 2:00 pm.
