Jim Amundson 71 of Ormond Beach passed away on Saturday December 25 2010. A Celebration of life will be held today Tuesday December 28 2010 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd.The family will receive guest from 10am until 11am. Father Fred Hovey will begin the service at 11am; a reception will immediately follow the service at the funeral home.

Jim enjoyed spending time with his family playing golf with friends boating sports and music.
He served as Vice President of the Home Owner Association for Sunrise Condos in New Smyrna Beach; and was also active in the Men's Club Prestwick and Club De Bonmont of Plantation Bay and the Plantation Bay Country Club.

Jim was a devoted husband and father & grandfather; he made a difference in many lives both personally and professionally.
His zest for life touched many and brought smiles to all.

Jim is preceded in death by his mother Wilma Masters Kakehashi stepfather John Kakehashi and father Moran Amundson.

He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 29 years Jo Puleo Amundson; son John (Shelia) Amundson; daughters Kim (Stephen) Kemp & Katherine (Murray) Farquhar; grandchildren Noa Kate Amundson; Debbie Elizabeth Kemp and Abby Jo Farquhar; brother Gary(Brenda) Amundson; and many extended family members and a multitude of friends.
