Jewell Christeen Coss age 89 of DeLeon Springs went to be with her Lord on Monday January 3 2011. A 1:00 visitation until a 2:00 Funeral service will be held in her honor at the Deland Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Homes followed by an interment at Deland Memorial Gardens.
Jewell was born in Lavern Tennessee to James and Myrtle Crick. She was a talented musician who enjoyed riding motorcycles cooking sitting on the porch talking with her friends and reading her bible and was a proud member of Church of Christ in Deland. In her early years she drove a School Bus and lastly a cook for the Duval Home before her retirement. Her beloved husband of 40 years Chalmer Coss preceded her in death and she leaves behind to cherish her memory two children: Janis Girard and her husband William of
DeLeon Springs FL and Barry Coss and his wife Devine of Vance SC 3 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren 4 great great grandchildren and her extended church family.
