Jewell N. Bray age 90 of Port Orange FL passed away on Thursday July 18th.

A viewing will be held between the hours of 6:00 P.M. & 8:00 P.M. on Monday July 22 2013 at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona 1423 Bellevue Ave. Daytona Beach. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M on Tuesday July 23 2013.

Jewell was born May 26 1923 in Bear Creek NC and attended BonLee High School in 1940 where she met "Daddy" (James Clinton Bray) and they were married on October 10 1942 in Stark FL. They had two daughters Judy and Joan and then moved to Florida in March of 1957. Living in Ormond Daytona and then Port Orange. Jewell currently was living at the Riviera Assisted Living since December 2011.

Jewell made draperies then custom slipcovers owning her own business since the late 60's when she then retired in the late 80's. She was a very active in her church and was a member of the 1st Baptist Ormond Beach then Westside Baptist then Harbor Oaks 1st Baptist.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Clinton Bray both parents Merritt and Zonie Clark Norwood ½ Brothers Garland and Archie Norwood Brother John D. Norwood and Sisters Decie Smith and Mollie Lee Burgess.

Survivors include her two Daughters and sons-in-law Judy A. and Michael M. Guttery of Hayesville NC and Joan B. and Craig R. Abrahamson of Port Orange FL. She had numerous nieces nephews and Great nieces and nephews all in North Carolina.
