Jessie M. Jones 91 passed away December15 2004 at Halifax Medical Center. A Memorial Service will be held at the Central Baptist Church 142 Fairview Ave. Daytona Beach on Wednesday December 29th at 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her husband Hafford C. Jones. Jessie is survived by her daughter Andrina Carey of Ormond Beach; Granddaughters Danielle Steinmann of Napels FL. And Colleen Lipira of Satellite Beach FL. Her great-granchildren Dillon and Katie Steinmann and Shelby Lipira.
She was a graduate of Chandler School of Nursing in Savanah GA. earning her Registered Nursing degree in 1936. Jessie moved to Daytona Beach from Savanah GA. in 1947 and was the owner operator of the Sails Motel in Daytona Beach Shores. Jessie was an Artist recipient of many awards in local art shows. Actively painting until her passing away. A founding member of the Brush and Palette Club and she was also a member of the Ormond Art Guild. Jessie was a member of Central Baptist Church Daytona Beach. In luie of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Mrs. Jones?s memory to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail Port Orange FL 32129
