Jerry Rogers, 77, of Palm Coast, passed away suddenly on June 28, 2017 in Daytona Beach, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday July 8, 2017 in the Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. The family will be receiving friends from 1:30pm until the service begins on Saturday at the Funeral Home.

Jerry was born on November 22, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Nicholas and Josephine Rogers. He moved to this area in 1991 from South Cairo, NY. Jerry was an ASE certified Subaru and GM mechanic and worked as a welder at Wittemann's of Palm Coast for 13 years before retiring.

Jerry enthusiastically enjoyed craftsmanship, building anything and everything, working on cars and stock car racing. He never met a stranger and always had a joke to tell.

Survivors include his five children, Jerome (Lizelle) Rogers of Brick, NJ, Robert Rogers of Palm Coast, FL, Jennifer (Brian Helfrich) Onishea of Seattle, WA, Sharon (Jason) Langieri of Jacksonville, FL and Nicholas (Ashley) Rogers of Los Alamitos, CA; one sister, Priscilla (William) Ryan of Blue Ridge, GA; a half-sister, Carmella Burke of Hampton, NY; seven grandchildren and the Mother of his children, Evelyn Rogers of Daytona Beach, FL.
