Jerome C. McMahon Jr. 90 of Ormond Beach passed away July 5 2012. Mr. McMahon retired after 30 years as an electrical engineer with General Electric.

Mr. McMahon served with a U.S. Army Engineer Combat Battalion in Europe during World War II. He received his electrical engineering degree from the University of California Berkeley and during his career he was a licensed professional engineer in the states of California and Virginia. He was born in State Center Iowa and moved to this area in 1978 from Cincinnati Ohio. He enjoyed reading classical music woodworking and home improvement projects.

Survivors include his sister Margaret Ellis of Rangeley Maine and four nieces and nephews. Lohman Funeral Home Ormond is in charge of Mr. McMahon's arrangements.
