Jeremiah J. Buckley of Flagler Beach Florida Age 84 passed away peacefully September 27 2010. Jeremiah was born October 13 1925 in The Bronx NY to Timothy Buckley and Anna Killarney Buckley. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 62 years Roseanne Buckley; his son Patrick (Jeanine) Buckley of Santa Rosa CA; his daughters Geraldine Marino of Palm Coast FL; Deborah (Jim) Horst of Palm Bay FL; and Roseanne (Thomas) Stocker of Flagler Beach FL; his 5 sisters 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. Jeremiah is predeceased by his parents and 1 Brother. Jeremiah proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1947 in the Pacific during WWII. He married Roseanne O'Brien in 1948. They resided in New York where they raised a loving family. Jeremiah retired as a Detective of the New York City Police Department in 1975. He moved to Flagler County in 1990. He enjoyed gardening wood working and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the VFW in Palm Coast Florida. A Memorial Mass in Jeremiah's honor will be held on Monday October 4 2010 at 11AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 89 Saint Mary Place Bunnell Florida.
