Jennie Ruffino (nee Armetta), 98 years young of Edgewater, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2015 with her loving and only son, Michael Ruffino, by her side. Jennie was born March 8, 1917 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a devoted wife of almost 60 years to her late husband, John Ruffino. The couple had been members of the Florida Shores Home Owners Association since 1985.

Her family was blessed to have her enjoy them through five living generations. She was a loving grandmother to Jacqueline and Christopher Criche, and Stephanie and Steven Sodd. She was a loving great-grandmother to Seth Amrhine, Caleb and Rebecca Amrhine, and Joshua Lezon; and a loving great-great-grandmother to Alaina Amrhine.

Friends are welcome to visit Lohman Funeral Home Port Orange, 1201 Dunlawton Avenue, from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 17. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 18, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1002 N. Dixie Freeway, New Smyrna Beach. Interment will immediately follow at Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery, 700 S. Ridgewood Avenue Edgewater.
