Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a beloved member of our community Dr. Jeffrey Scott 48 of Daytona Beach. A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate his life at 5:30 pm Thursday June 5 at the Greek Orthodox Reception Hall 129 N. Halifax in Daytona Beach. Jeff was born on October 2 1959 in Chicago Illinois. At the early age of 7 he began playing clarinet and sax. His talents evolved his love for music deepened and for the past 5 years Jeff played clarinet with Hot House Band. His other passion was being on the water whether on his surfboard or Hobie Cat racing. Jeff will also be remembered for his involvement with Pierson Mission Clinic and for his strong sense of community. Jeff touched many lives in many ways and his work ethic was a major part in his giving to others. Jeffrey leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 6 years Julie; his daughters two-year old Haley and one month old Jordan. He also leaves his parents Irene and William Scott; brothers James and Roger Scott; three nieces Natalie Samantha and Chloe and nephew James. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in honor of Jeffrey to: Irrevocable Trust for the Benefit of Haley Scott and Jordan Scott 212 Oakridge Blvd Daytona Beach FL 32118.
