Jeffrey Covert, 69, of Newark, Ohio passed away on January 11, 2025 in his home in Seville, Florida. He was born on October 2, 1955 in Newark to Charles and Clarice (Hupp) Covert.

Jeffrey was a maintenance supervisor for many years, and after some health complications, retired to Seville, Florida. He was a collector of toy tractors, guns, and anything old and antiqued. Jeffrey was the kind of person who no matter where he was or who he was with, he'd put smiles on everyone's faces with all his funny gestures and jokes. He was loved by everyone in the Pine Island community.

Jeffrey leaves behind his three children, Sherry (Kevin) Rittenhouse, Jeffrey (Atrina) Good, and Jonathan Covert; seven grandchildren, Leighanna Good, Ryan Good, Corey Rittenhouse, Mason Wheeler, Aiden Runyon, Charles Covert, and Paris Bedell; his sisters, Lynn (George) Baruxes, Joan Jones, Trena Huffman, and Ruthie Cates; his brothers, Charles (Cathy) Covert, Darrell (Vicky) Covert, and Terry (Tammy) Covert; his nephew Aaron (Heather) Crawford; many more nieces and nephews; and his best friends, John Farabee, Jackie Bedell, and Miki Schmidt,
