Jeannine H Ratliff's Obituary
Jeannine H. Ratliff, 65, of Deland, FL, was called home on April 01, 2018. She was born in Atlantic City, NJ on February 22, 1953 to Frank and Dorothy Hendree. Jeannine held a bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Tulsa and was a teacher for several years. Although she enjoyed history, genealogy, snow skiing, flowers and good music and the beach, her favorite activity was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Jeannine was preceded in death by her father, Frank C. Hendree and brother-in-law Michael McGarrity. She is survived by her husband Phil Ratliff, mother Dorothy J. Hendree, son Beau (Sandra) Ratliff and daughter Heather (Michael) Mahon, sisters Michelle (Donald) Cabot, Kim (John) Roche and Laurie Hendree. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Gabriella, Olivia and Alex Ratliff and Wyatt and Jayce Mahon, nieces Kelly Armour and Tara Yard and nephew Chris Roche. A gathering of friends and family will take place between the hours of
12:00pm and 2:00pm
on
Saturday, April 21, 2018
with a Celebration of Life service starting at 2:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Deland. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please make a donation in Jeannine's honor to Journeys End Sanctuary, PO Box 220163, Glenwood, FL, 32723.
