Jeanette B. Buswell, 76 of Port Orange Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Halifax Health Medical Center, Daytona Beach.  She was born May 16, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles and Yolanda (Kwiatek) Janis.

Jean served her country in the U.S. Marine Corps. and was the proud owner and operator of several businesses. She also worked as a server, flight attendant, and caregiver. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Jean enjoyed bowling, bingo, and taking cruises relentlessly trying to beat those slot machines, but without a doubt, her passion was her family. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports and perform in the band. Most of all she looked forward to Thanksgiving & Christmas, being around loved ones, and making others smile.

Survivors include her son, Steven Richard Buswell of Ormond Beach, FL, her daughter Kimberly Jean Weslar and her husband Tim Weslar of Port Orange, by three grandchildren, Jenna Leigh Buswell, Braden Thomas Buswell, and Logan Robert Weslar, and her siblings Marie, Chuck, Marian, Kathy, and Mark. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Janis and Yolanda Kwiatek, and her sister Charlene Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Thurs., Jan. 21 ^st between the hours of 6-8 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 1201 Dunlawton Ave Port Orange. Mass of Christian Burial along with Military Honors  will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 22 ^nd at 8:30 am at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church; 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. Port Orange. Interment will follow at Daytona Memorial Park. Memorial.
