Jean K. Teasdale 77 a long-time resident of Ormond Beach passed away on February 18 2010 after a long illness. She was born on August 27 1932 in Chicopee Falls MA and attended Bryant Junior College in Rhode Island in pursuit of a degree in Business. After college she met and married her former husband James Teasdale to whom she was married to for nearly 20 years. In the late 70's she relocated to Florida and was employed at Industrial Engineering/Matthews Corp. in Apopka for approximately 20 years prior to retiring. Jean enjoyed walks on the beach reading and spending time with her "snowbird" friends. Each Wednesday from 4:00pm - 6:00pm she could be found in her home surrounded by numerous friends enjoying "Happy Hour" together. This was a weekly tradition up to and including the last Wednesday of her life. Jean celebrated each day and blessed us all with her inspirational love of life. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Bonnie (Mike) Ezell of Winter Garden FL Karen Moore of Agaman MA six grandchildren six great-grandchildren and many close friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 20th from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home 1425 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach FL 32114.
