Vincenza "Jean" Perretto, 86 of Palm Coast, Florida passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Flagler Health & Rehab. Bunnell, Florida. She was born March 13, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York to Thomas and Jennie (Quinn) Napolitano and attended Mabel Dean Bacon Vocational High School in Manhattan. Jean has been a long time resident of Palm Coast, relocating from Bay Shore, L.I. New York. She was homemaker, a loving wife and mother, a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast, where she served as an usher for many years. In her younger years she and her husband Peter raised pigeons on the roof tops of New York, she was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodges, the Italian American Club as well as being an active member at numerous clubs and organizations throughout Palm Coast, including the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed the game shown network, crossword puzzles, mahjong, sewing, and dancing. Jean is survived by her two daughters, Rose Kruger and her husband John of Daytona Beach, FL and Genevieve Longo and her husband Gary of East Islip, NY by four grandchildren, Laura Kruger, Michelle McWilliams and her husband David, Peter Kruger and his wife Melanie, and John Kruger and his wife Danielle, by seven great-grandchildren, Madeline, Ella, James, Daniel, Charlotte, Henry and Danton, as well as a host of friends and associates. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Peter Perretto in 2000, and by her three sisters, Mary, Helen, and Rosie and by her brother, Dominic. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19 th and Monday, May 20 th from 2-4 and 6-8 p m with a Scripture Wake Service at 7:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 220 Palm Coast Pkwy. Palm Coast, FL. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 21 st at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terra Pkwy. Palm Coast. Inurnment will be held t a later date in New York. Memorial Contributions may be made in Jean's memory to; St. Jude's Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105 Arrangements are under the care of Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast.
