Jean Marie Kelly

January 31, 1955 ~ October 29, 2021

Jean Marie Kelly, 66, passed away in her Florida home on Friday, October 29, 2021. Her death, while unexpected, was peaceful, surrounded by the comforts of home, spiritual guidance, and her dog Coco. Jean was born January 31, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois to Eugene Kelly and Mary Dirnbeck. She spent her childhood in Lombard, Illinois with her siblings Mike, Fred, and John. She was a graduate of Glenbard East High School in 1973. She also received her bachelors in supervision and management from Daytona State College in 2014. She was an incredibly successful account executive to AT&T/BellSouth for over 30 years. She had two beautiful daughters, Kelly and Kaitlyn, who were the most important part of her life. Jean was a vibrant, intelligent, and creative person with an incredibly fierce spirit. She was passionate about her faith, friends, gardening, traveling, cooking, and volunteering. She was a member of Thrive Community Church where she made innumerable contributions to the children's ministry, homeless ministry, and small groups. Jean impacted all who met her. She will be greatly missed and her devotion to service will be lived on through Thrive Church homeless ministries. Her memorial service will be held at Lohman Funeral Home in Port Orange, Florida on November 10th with viewing from 4:30 to 6:30 PM and a service 6:30 to 7:00 PM.
