Jean Ann Berardesco 85 of Port Orange died Friday April 1 2005 in Hartwell GA. Mrs. Berardesco was born in Newark NJ. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Berardesco attended St. Paul?s Catholic Church in Daytona Beach. She was a member of the Port Orange Craft Group and she was an accomplished sculptor and painter. Her work was on exhibition at various art shows. The wife of the late Joseph Berardesco Mrs. Berardesco is survived by a son Joseph Jr. of Hartwell GA; a daughter Peggy Ann Appleby of Ormond Beach; 2 brothers Carmen Alessi of NJ and John Alessi of FL; 3 sisters Frances DiBiano Angie DiMedica and Fanny Emanule all of NJ; 6 grandchildren Joey Bobby Jeannie Lisa Jimmy and Margaret; and 4 great-grandchildren Stefanie Drew Austin and Lea. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral 7 am Thursday April 7 2005 in the chapel of Baggett & Summers Funeral Home. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am at St. Paul?s Church. Entombment will be in Woodland Cemetery Port Orange.
