Memorial Services for Jay Carter Ashby age 25 who died Sunday Feb. 14 2010 will be held Saturday Feb. 20th at 2pm at First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach 336 S. Halifax Dr. with Pastor Bill Owens officiating. Jay was born on November 14 1984 to Hank and Susan Ashby in W. Palm Beach FL and moved with his family to Ormond Beach when he was ten. He attended St. James School Father Lopez and received his diploma from Seabreeze High School. He also attended Daytona State College. Jay's passions were art surfing and fishing. He was a good musician who enjoyed playing the upright bass. He will be missed by his family and friends and is survived by his parents Hank & Susan Ashby his brother Brandon and sister-in-law Tina Roberts-Ashby and two nieces Adalaide and Abelina Ashby all of Tampa FL his sister Kristin and brother-in-law Jason Schwartz of Merritt Island FL his grandfather William Alpaugh of Ormond Beach FL and many aunts uncles and cousins.
