Javon Camon a defensive back for the Daytona Beach Thunder indoor football team died Monday night. He was 25. Camon is survived by his parents Ernel and Nathalie Montgomery and his biological father Ronnie Platt Sr.; sisters Scherrie Williams Latoya Platt Rhonda Platt; brother Ronnie Platt Jr; grandparents Willie and Wanda Platt and grandmothers Eva Camon and Bethanie Tomlin; aunts Sylvia Birden and Shirley Wilson; uncles Lloyd Camon Sylvester Camon Timothy Camon and Lewis Camon; newphews Keandre Camon Kahlede Camon and Javion Camon; niece Infiniti Camon and special friends Elgin Hicks Kasey Cash Bruce Gibson and Loneie Lee. A memorial service will be held Thursday March 1 at Lohman Funeral Home 733 West Granada Boulevard Ormond Beach FL from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Rev. Isaac Thomas of Ft. Myers Primitive Baptist Church will officiate. Camon was a member of the Thunder's inaugural 2006 season appearing in five games. He was a four-year letterman at the University of South Florida.
