Jarry Pierre"JP" Eichrodt 66 of Palm coast Florida and formerly Statesboro Ga. entered into eternal rest on January 10 2011 while surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services were held on January 11 2011 at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy Palm Coast FL. Graveside services and interment will be held at 4 pm on January 12 2011 at the Daniel Baptist Church Cemetery Richmond Hill Ga. with Reverend John H. Clanton officiating. JP was born on September 2 1944 at French Hospital in Ny Ny. After graduating from the University of Miami JP joined the United States Army and served with honor in the Vietnam War. Returning home he started a management career with W.T. Grant Company which he became a leading entrepreneur in the retail market. He was founder and CEO of J.P. Fashions Inc./Contempo. JP moved with his family to Palm Coast Florida in 2000 to become a Co-owner/Associate Producer of Travel Host Magazine. He was most recently employed by Wal-Mart Stores Inc. Palm Coast FL. JP will be remembered by all that knew him for his love of life and especially love of his family and friends.
JP was preceded in death by his parents Marie-Josephe Jarry and John Morris Eichrodt and granddaughter Amber Marie Crowe. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years Sharon Clanton Eichrodt of Palm Coast Florida four daughters Dawn O'Donnell of Jarvisburg North Carolina Ashley Milligan of Swainsboro Georgia Kim Sikes of Vidalia Georgia and Dianna Jarry Eichrodt of Palm Coast Florida and a brother John Eichrodt. JP was also the loving grandfather to seven grandchildren John Patrick "JP" Annabelle O'Donnell Sierra Colin and Emmalee Milligan Brent Miller and Hannah Sikes.
