For many years, she had an “I Pause for Paws” bumper sticker on her car and had a deep love for all animals, especially cats. She eagerly looked forward every year to the return of her beloved Sandhill Cranes and their newborn colts.

She is also survived by Winter and Cheddar, her most recent cats and loyal companions during her illness.
She eagerly looked forward every year to the return of her beloved Sandhill Cranes and their newborn colts.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Helen Garber, and her brothers, Bob and Larry Garber.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, at River City Church, 267 E. Highbanks Rd., DeBary, FL, from 10 a.m. to noon.
