Janice Carole Coleman was born on July 8th, 1940 in Welch, West Virginia. Raised in Eden, NC along with her sisters Betty and Dorothy by their parents, Charles E. Coleman and Gaynelle Coleman.
Moved to Daytona Beach in 1960 and met her future husband, Andrew C. Beardsley. They were married for 49 years and had 4 children, Charles, Jandrea, Rhonda and Randall. Janice studied and became a Registered Nurse thru Daytona Beach Community College Nursing program. She worked at Halifax Hospital and for Dr. Roxy Maresse.
She loved to play Bingo, go shopping and to be with family, especially her grandchildren. Janice had 5 grandchildren, Charles, Clinton, Nicole, Angela and Coleman.
Janice accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at the age of 79.
Janice married Steve Bacom and became active with the First Baptist Church of Daytona. Janice and Steve sang in the choir, visited Nursing Homes and enjoyed Sunday School.
