Janet "Jan" Solley, 87, peacefully passed away at her home with her family by her side and into her Savior's loving arms on Friday, May 29, 2026. Born in Orlando Florida, she was the youngest daughter of John and Florence Fleming. Jan was a member of Deltona Church of Christ and had a strong Christian faith that guided her life. Jan found joy in painting, gardening, music, and reading.

Jan was a true adventurer, world traveler, and treasure-seeker. She had a passion for animals and loved many during her lifetime.

In addition to her parents, Jan is predeceased by her sister, Marlene.

Jan was survived by a brother, Glendon, son, Derek, daughter, Laura (Wayne), granddaughters Christina, Allison, and Frances (Jonathan). She had three great-grandchildren, Emerson, Emmanuel, and Evelyn.

A public viewing will take place for friends and family in Deltona on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Lohman Funeral Home, located at 1681 Providence Blvd, Deltona, FL 32725, followed by a service at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to final rest in Roselawn Cemetery in Athens, Georgia, with Graveside services 11:00AM , Saturday, June 6, 2026 by the Alabama Funeral Home Spry Funeral Home of Athens, Alabama #256-232-2622
