Jane R. Scully , 77 of Ormond Beach, Florida, formally East Moline Illinois, passed away peacefully on August 14th, 2021 at Halifax Care Center of Ormond Beach.
She was born in Washington D.C. on March 13th, 1944, to John Lester Reynolds and Miriam Adler Reynolds.
For many years she was a Title One, Special Education Teacher. Later in life, she continued with her profession by substitute teaching and after school tutoring for children in need.
She was a member of The Benevolent Order of Elks, the Fraternal Order of Eagles and Red Hatter Society.
Jane's hobbies included fund raising for charitable organizations, dancing up a storm, watching sunsets and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her sister, Margaret Brunner (Jeorge Brunner) of Chicago Illinois, Daughters: Valerie Johnson (David Johnson ) of Ormond Beach, Florida, Rebecca Scully of Moline, Illinois. Grandchildren: David Johnson (Samantha), Johnathon Bever, Lauren Johnson, Zachery Bever (Kindra), Noah Maynard, Christian Maynard, Laura Smith (Michael), Kristin Hillary (Ryan) and Jessica Kubas (Shawn). She was also survived by 16 beautiful great grandchildren.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Scully, Parents John and Miriam Reynolds.
A service of remembrance will be celebrated on August 29th, 2021, at F.O.E 4435 at 3pm. A private family Inurnment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer Research in care of Eagle Auxiliary #4435, 1186 Ocean Shore Blvd., Ormond Beach, Florida 32176.
